Show the SysTray

This is a great time saving widget, thanks for posting it on codeplex!

One thing that I would find handy is an option to hide/show the Window Phone SysTray.

At the moment it is hidden by default and I can't see a way to override it.

Hi Alex. That's a great idea. I'll add an option for this to the next release, thank you for the suggestion.

+1 I would like the tray to optionally show as well. I'm using the ProgressIndicator which requires the tray to be visible so when I go to the about page, there's a shift up (then back down when the user returns) to the page. A param passed on the uri would be great.

Hi. It's been a while since the last version has been released, and a new one is around the corner; expect that feature to be added next weekend.

Hi again. It took a while to get the new release out, but it just went live. See the styling section of the documentation for more details on how to style the about page, and in particular on how to show/hide the system tray. The required styles file is created automatically when you update or install the package from NuGet.
